ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY RESOURCE AND EDUCATION CENTER
Arranges AT solutions from low-tech (simple) to high tech (complex) to meet the needs of the individual. Supports not only individuals, but also clinicians, special educators, and families. Collaborates with TRAID to maintain an inventory of AT devices that are available for demonstration and short-term loan.

LEARNING DISABILITIES ASSOCIATION OF THE MOHAWK VALLEY
This chapter of the national LDA has an office in Watertown. They provide a variety of programs to help individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and make their own choices. Free tutorial services are available for students in grades 1 - 12.

CHILDREN'S RESPITE PROGRAM
The Children's Respite Program has offices in Malone and Saranac Lake. This agency offers Children and Adult Services to assist emotionally troubled children and their families by providing temporary supervised care during crisis or stressors that are overwhelming for the family.

A Health Home is a service that links you to your community and social supports. It enhances coordination of medical, social, and behavioral health care with a focus on your goals and what you need. Home Health Care offers a choice of services between Adirondack Health Institute, Children's Health Home of Upstate NY, and Encompass Health Home.

HOMELESS SHELTER APARTMENT HOUSING
The Homeless Shelter apartment Housing is a joint effort on the part of Citizen Advocates, Franklin County Department of Social Services, and the Franklin County Community Housing Council. The shelter is provided to offer temporary housing to individuals, couples, or families who are homeless or in crisis and need respite.

Front Door and Self-Directed Services are available through the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
Front Door will aid you with the following:
Learning about the supports and services OPWDD offers
Finding out how to apply for OPWDD services
Finding out if you are eligible for OPWDD services
Identifying the supports and services you need, and
Planning for getting the supports and services you need.
Self-Direction means that you can choose to select and supervise your own staff and/or manage your own services.​
